In this video we’re going to learn how to make crispy skin salmon. First, we’re going to start by mixing together one-and-a-half teaspoons of salt, one teaspoon of sugar and one-and-a-half-teaspoons of pepper. We’re going to use that to season our salmon. Then we’re going to take a bowl and we’re going to whisk together some olive oil, a quarter cup of brown sugar and some honey. We’re going to use that to glaze the salmon. We’re going to take some of our seasoned salmon and we’re going to get a cast iron skillet nice and hot on medium high heat. We’re going to sear our salmon skin side down first, then we’re going to flip it over and cook it through. We’re going to make sure we don’t overcook the salmon. We don’t want it to be overcooked. We’re going to cook it just until the center of the salmon is still pink. We’re going to take our salmon out and we’re going to slice it up and serve it.
